Eco-efficiency and Sustainability: An Analysis for the Philippines

The aim of this paper was to explore the effect energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and population growth on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Philippines. Economic reflects increase production, use resources which are often associated with poor environmental quality. Many studies show that consumption used production drives GDP, however, leads degradation many have concluded economic is unsustainable. It has been perceived goals conflict each other.
